NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025

KOOTENAI COUNTY WATER DISTRICT No. 1

 

Notice is hereby given that Kootenai County Water District No. 1 (KCWD#1), Kootenai County, Idaho, will hold a public hearing for the consideration of the proposed budget for the fiscal period December 1, 2024 to November 30, 2025 pursuant to the applicable section(s) of Idaho Code.  The hearing will be held at the Eastside Highway District Building, 6095 Mullan Trail Rd., Coeur d’Alene, ID at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.  All interested resident patrons and tax payers are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should or should not be adopted.

The proposed revenues and expenditures for fiscal year 2025 have been tentatively approved by the Kootenai County Water District No. 1 Board of Directors (the “Board”) at a public meeting held July 24, 2024.   www.kcwd1.blogspot.com

Emergency Leak Repair on Allen Rd. Monday, August 5, 2024

An Emergency Leak Repair is in process on Allen Rd. in the Bonanza District.  In order to isolate the leak, main valves at that location will need to be shut off, and Patrons on Allen Rd, Cartright, Little Joe and Reagan will experience water service interruption while the leak is repaired.  ETR (Estimated Time of Restoration) is 3:00 PM this afternoon.  Please monitor the blog for updates.

Reminder: Patrons who have had their water service interrupted, should open one inside tap slowly to vent any air that may have gotten into their plumbing, and then flush their lines until running water is clear during first use.
