Update 5:15 PM: The leak has been repaired and water service has been restored.
Reminder: Patrons who have had their water service interrupted, should open one inside tap slowly to vent any air that may have gotten into their plumbing, and then flush their lines until running water is clear during first use.
Update 1:00 PM: The repair of the leak has been complicated by the location of other utility lines near the break, so the excavation has to be done carefully and slowly. This will delay the repair completion, but ETR is still this evening sometime.
