from the Kootenai County Water District No. 1 Board of Directors.
We have some good news. The
District received the coliform test results back today confirming that no biological
contaminants are present in the water, and it is safe for human consumption. DEQ has officially confirmed that the DO NOT
DRINK ADVISORY can be lifted immediately.
Please note that the Water District was required by DEQ to mail
a hard copy of the DO NOT DRINK ADVISORY to all Patrons, even though it was
likely that it would be received after the ADVISORY was lifted. Please ignore the mailed ADVISORY as it is no
longer applicable.
