To All Patrons:
Wanted to post an update before the Special Board Meeting at 6:00 PM even with limited detail, as the full daily report has not been communicated yet. At this time, both leaks have been repaired, but the last communication was that the valve for Wagon Wheel was under water and crews were trying to drain the water so that they could uncover the valve to open it. More updates on the leak repair after the meeting.
RC Worst was able to replace the pump stack assembly on the 40 HP pump. The technician found several broken impellers when he took it apart. Do not have the full report on the 20 HP yet. Again, more detail after the meeting.
Matt Johnson of Wapiti Consulting was able to get the water system auto control system back to operational. The District is now back online with auto controls to all parts of the system.
THE ENTIRE DISTRICT IS STILL UNDER A BOIL ORDER.
DO NOT DRINK ANY WATER COMING FROM THE SYSTEM AT THIS TIME UNLESS YOU HAVE BOILED THE WATER FOR AT LEAST ONE MINUTE.
THE WATER, AS SUPPLIED, CAN BE USED FOR ALL NON-POTABLE USES INCLUDING TOILET FLUSHING, LAUNDRY, SHOWERS (DO NOT DRINK!), AND LIVESTOCK.
THE DISTRICT WILL NOTIFY PATRONS WHEN THE WATER PRODUCED BY THE SYSTEM HAS TESTED AS BEING SAFE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
